Adding a weather forecast preview before launching career mode races
Hey everyone, I have a suggestion regarding how weather is handled in the online career mode. Right now, when we queue up for a career race on tracks like Overpass or Switchback, we do not get a clear indicator of what the weather conditions will be until the race actually starts loading. This makes choosing between engine, tires, and nitro upgrades feel like a guessing game.
If I queue up with a heavy engine build expecting a sunny race on Skyline, but it turns out to be a foggy or snowy race, my car is completely undrivable because I did not equip wet or snow tires.
My suggestion is to add a simple weather forecast icon on the career mode lobby screen before we hit the ready button. It could show a preview of whether it will be sunny, rainy, snowy, or foggy. This would allow players to quickly swap their upgrades to match the track conditions. It would add a great layer of strategy, letting us decide if we want to risk a high-nitro build in the fog or play it safe with tire upgrades. What do you all think?
