Fog on Skyline is currently unplayable without memorizing the track

I’ve been grinding the online career mode for a few weeks now, and I really love the overall feel of the game. The upgrade progression feels rewarding, especially when you finally max out your engine. However, I need to bring up an issue with the Skyline track when the fog weather condition is active.

Right now, Skyline during fog feels less about racing skill and more about blind luck or pure muscle memory. Because Skyline has those quick, consecutive blind turns and elevation changes, the extremely low visibility makes it almost impossible to react in time, even with top-tier tires installed. If you use nitro, you’re basically guaranteed to fly off the track because you can't see the upcoming turn until you're already crashing.

I think the developers should consider adding some subtle track-side reflectors or slightly increasing the headlight range on our cars during fog events. Another option would be a minimal HUD map that actually shows the upcoming curve direction in real-time. I love a good challenge, and snow/rain physics are in a great place, but fog on Skyline currently feels frustrating rather than fun. What do you guys think? Is anyone else struggling to keep their career win streak alive on this specific combo?

I completely agree. Just last night I was leading by three seconds on the final lap of Skyline in the heavy fog. I completely missed the braking point for that sharp left after the bridge because I literally couldn't see the turn until I was already flying into the barrier. Dropped to last place instantly. It really is just blind luck at this point.

Sounds like someone has a maxed-out engine but stock memory! Just use the guardrails as guide dogs like the rest of us do on Skyline. A little track memorization never hurt anyone, unless you hit that sharp turn at full speed.

Spot on feedback. The career engine upgrades feel so rewarding, but you are totally right about the Skyline fog. It completely ruins the flow of an otherwise amazing track. Thanks for putting this into words so perfectly.

Skyline in the fog is a nightmare. The biggest issue for me is that the headlights actually make visibility worse by reflecting off the mist, completely blinding you before the hairpin. Without 3D track markers, you have absolutely no reference points for braking. It turns a great technical track into a guessing game.

Would adding dynamic braking lines or brighter track markers solve the visibility issue on Skyline, or do you think fog just needs to be removed from the playlist entirely?

Completely agree. What makes it worse is that the car headlights do absolutely nothing to cut through that mist. You can't even see the braking markers before the big hairpin, which turns every online race there into a massive pileup.

I completely agree. Just last night I was leading a lobby on Skyline, hit that thick fog bank on the back straight, and completely missed the braking zone for the hairpin. Flew right into the barrier and ruined my suspension. It really is just a memory test right now.

Do you think adding brighter brake lights or trackside reflectors would fix the visibility issue on Skyline, or does the fog density itself just need to be toned down in the next patch?

Wait, you actually want to see where you're going? I thought the meta on Skyline fog was just flooring your maxed-out engine and letting the guardrails guide you home. Sounds like someone needs to invest in some high-beams!

I completely agree about the progression system, maxing out the engine is easily the best part of the career mode. Even though the Skyline fog is insanely challenging, the atmospheric lighting and visual realism the devs pulled off here is absolutely top-tier. It looks gorgeous even if it is tough to navigate!

Wait, you actually use your eyes on Skyline? I thought the meta for fog was closing your eyes, flooring it, and letting the guardrails guide your maxed-out engine to the finish line. Just think of it as extreme braille driving!
