Does anyone else struggle with the fog transitions in career mode?
I have been spending a lot of time in the online career mode lately, and I really need to talk about the fog effects on the Skyline track. Is it just me, or has the visibility become significantly harder to manage after the last update? I was leading a high-stakes race yesterday, but as soon as we hit that long stretch near the end, the fog rolled in so thick that I completely missed the turn-in point for the final chicane.
I am currently running a level 4 engine with level 2 tires, and I am starting to think that was a huge mistake for this season's weather rotation. When it transitions from sunny to fog or snow, the traction drop-off is absolutely brutal. I tried switching to the rain tires, but then I lose too much top speed on the Overpass straights when it is sunny. It feels like there is no perfect balance right now. Does anyone have a specific nitro timing strategy for when the visibility drops? I usually save my nitro for the exits, but in the fog, I find myself tapping the brakes way too early because I cannot see the track markers clearly.
I would love to hear how you guys are tuning your cars to handle these sudden weather shifts, especially when you are halfway through a career season and cannot change your core build easily. Are tires actually more important than engine upgrades when the snow starts falling on tracks like Switchback? I am tired of sliding into the walls every time the sun goes away. Any advice on the best tire and nitro combo for mixed
