Adding a weather forecast indicator in the career mode lobby before matchmaking
I have been playing career mode heavily over the last few weeks, and while I love the challenge of adapting to different weather conditions, the lack of preparation time is becoming a bit frustrating. Right now, we get matched into a lobby and immediately thrust into the race on tracks like Switchback or Overpass without knowing if we are going to get sunny skies or heavy fog. If you queued up with a heavy engine build optimized for sunny Skyline, and suddenly you are dropped into a snowy Switchback race, your car is basically undrivable because your tires and nitro setup are all wrong.
My suggestion is to add a simple weather forecast icon in the career mode lobby before the countdown ends. Even a simple icon showing rainy, snowy, sunny, or foggy would give us about fifteen to thirty seconds to quickly swap out our tire or engine upgrades to match the track conditions. This wouldn't make the game any easier, but it would definitely reduce the frustration of losing career points just because of bad luck with the weather RNG. It would add a nice layer of strategy to the pre-race phase instead of forcing us to run balanced, mediocre setups all the time just to be safe. Let me know what you guys think!
