How to survive the Skyline blind corners when the fog rolls in
I have been grinding the career mode a lot lately and I keep hitting a wall whenever Skyline gets the fog weather modifier. On sunny or even rainy runs, I can usually rely on my engine upgrades to carry me through the long straight sections, but fog completely changes how I have to approach the track. The visibility is so low that I keep missing my braking points right before the big drops, which ends up sending my car straight into the barriers and ruining my momentum.
I currently have level 4 engine and level 3 tires, but no matter how I tune my approach, I cannot seem to get a clean run in the fog. Should I be investing more in tire upgrades to handle the sudden slides, or is it purely a matter of memorizing the track layout and ignoring the lack of visual cues? I tried using nitro right after the blind corners, but that just makes it harder to recover if I misjudge the angle.
How are you guys managing your speed on Skyline when the fog is at its worst? Do you rely on specific landmarks on the side of the track to know when to brake, or is there a trick to the tire grip in these conditions that I am missing? Any advice on setup adjustments or driving lines would be highly appreciated.
